Mariane Ibrahim
I curate approximately thirteen exhibitions each year for Mariane Ibrahim across our galleries in Chicago, Paris, and Mexico City. Most are solo exhibitions developed closely with artists around new bodies of work, alongside a smaller number of group exhibitions that often allow us to introduce new artists and new conversations across our three locations.
Each exhibition grows out of an ongoing dialogue with Mariane Ibrahim, an extraordinary woman whose vision goes far beyond the art scene or the art market. My role also extends beyond the gallery: I curate and contribute to institutional exhibitions, working closely with artists, curators, and museum professionals to develop projects and help bring them to their fullest realization.
Writing and publishing are an important part of this work. We commission and produce texts and publications that create a broader critical context for our artists and their practices.
